Hannah Gibson

Hannah started her teaching career in mainstream primary, however her passion for supporting students with SEND led her to move to a broad spectrum SEND school in Warwickshire. Hannah has taught Primary, Secondary and Post 16 students with SEND. Hannah has a proven record of working collegiately with a range of staff teams to enhance provision. She developed a range of successful provisions in Warwickshire including an enhanced provision for students with significant SEMH needs and 2 cognition and learning focused resource provisions in a mainstream high school and college. Hannah has been in Senior Leadership positions in 2 Warwickshire SEND schools and has strategically led on a range of whole school areas such as pastoral support, interventions, accreditation, transitions and careers.

Hannah believes in a holistic approach to education and is particularly passionate about trauma informed practice. She has been a Team Teach trainer for over 5 years and has supported SEN and mainstream schools across Warwickshire in this role. She particularly enjoys supporting colleagues to think about what a student is communicating through their behaviour and how they can change their provision to best support an individual.

Hannah joined Romero MAC in 2024 and is excited to share SEND best practice and empower staff groups to offer the best possible provision.
