Romero Catholic Academy Celebrates a Decade of Shared Mission and Community

Pupils, staff and senior figures from our MAC gathered at Coventry Cathedral to mark ten years since we became “Romero”.

The event saw readings, music, performances from a gospel choir and a procession performed by Year 4 pupils from across the academy. The event was live streamed.

The day formed part of the schools’ wider Jubilee Year celebrations, described as a moment of reflection, gratitude and hope for the future as part of Romero’s mission for its pupils to become “Pilgrims of Hope”.

The morning was a series of workshops culminating in each school performing a dance to reflect a line from a prayer attributed to Saint Oscar Romero.
