Heather O’Sullivan – HR Business Partner
My journey with The Romero Catholic Academy began in October 2015. I joined as an Administration Assistant, supporting from the Academy’s first year as a Multi Academy Company. My role supported the Board of Directors and Shared Services Team with admin duties, varying between general administration, Finance related admin and HR related admin.
Supported by leadership, I found a deeper interest within HR and was offered the opportunity to undertake my Level 3 Human Resources qualification supported and funded by the Academy. After successfully completing this qualification I was successful in a new role within the Academy as HR Administrator and began my career working within HR, progressing to HR Advisor within 1 year. Through further training opportunities, I undertook further training and in 2019 and completed my Level 7 in Human Resources Management. Now working as a HR Business Partner for the past 3 years.
I will be forever grateful to the Academy and the leadership team that supported me through this journey and look forward to future opportunities.
