Dean Kavanagh

Dean lives in Nuneaton and is a previous student of both Cardinal Wiseman and Good Shepherd schools, who are both within the MAC.

Professionally, Dean is the Managing Director of QED Environmental Systems Ltd in Coventry, part of the Graco Inc. global business, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is responsible for QED’s global business across the EMEA, Asia Pacific and Oceania regions.

Dean has an Engineering background, completing his apprenticeship with GPT/Marconi before commencing a career in Manufacturing Leadership and Management.

He is a Chartered Director through the Institute of Directors (IoD) who operate under a Royal Charter as the leadership body for Directors and Governance in the UK, serving also as Chair of the IoD’s Coventry & Warwickshire Branch Committee as well as a member of the IoD’s West Midlands Regional Committee. He was also Chair of Trustees for Positive Youth Foundation, a Social Enterprise Charity in Coventry for over 7 years up to January 2020.

Dean was a serving foundation Director for Romero from October 2014 to July 2018, serving as both Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board. He is excited to be back working with the Board of Directors, Staff and wider stakeholders of the MAC.
