Job Summary:

Are you an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about the delivery of food offers, customer service and satisfaction? If so, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

We are currently recruiting a Catering Manager to manage The Academies eight school catering service. You will be responsible for leading the individual academies in the management of their Catering Service.

This is an opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and develop within a progressive and ambitious Catholic Academy and develop a special catering offer within a school environment.

With self-motivation, ambition and strong people and leadership skills, you will deliver an outstanding service delivery that exceeds our staff and pupil expectations. This position will suit an experienced catering professional, who is passionate about food quality, is innovative and has high standards of service delivery.

About The Romero Catholic Academy (TRCA):

TRCA is a large academy of seven Primary schools and one Secondary school in the North East of Coventry. We educate 3500 pupils from ages 3 to 19 and employ over 500 staff.

Key Role Objectives:

  • To manage and monitor the Catering Services across the Academy and drive up performance levels in accordance with agreed key performance indicators.
  • To support the eight schools with the day to day management, development and monitoring of food provision.
  • To provide strategic support, technical advice and coaching to the school catering teams.
  • To improve the quality of food served to our pupils and staff
  • To increase meal uptake levels
  • To develop a creative and innovative catering offer that caters for both pupil and staff needs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of managing in a multi-site catering environment
  • Management experience and a track record of leading and inspiring remote operational teams to deliver great results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of transforming previous catering services
