Mrs Carmen McMahon

Carmen has just over 7 years’ experience in the education sector and joined the Romero Catholic Academy Trust in 2018 as a Human Resource Advisor. Carmen is CIPD Level 5 in HR Management qualified and is due to start level 7 in March 2019.

 

Carmen specialises in, but is not restricted to, recruitment and selection, induction processes, safeguarding, absence management, performance management, complaints, disciplinaries, grievance’s and capability.

 

Carmen is passionate about employment law and remains up to date by regularly attending employment law updates, CIPD training events and mock tribunals. Carmen also regularly partakes in HR webinars, listens to HR podcasts, and reads People Management magazine.

 

When not working Carmen enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys keeping fit by running, going to the gym and horse riding.

 

Carmen is a passionate HR professional who is enthusiastic about helping the Romero Catholic Academy succeed through its people. Working in partnership with the schools across the trust, providing a value adding service that ensures enhanced business performance.
